Basket of Hope
The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
A Basket of Hope food pantry was established in 2007, when the Lord impressed upon our ministry to stop hunger in Newark, NJ. Soon after one became two, two became four and we are currently feeding thousands of individuals and families on a monthly basis. In addition to our pantry which is open every Wednesday from 3:00-5:00pm and after our Saturday 8pm service.
Clients who come for a Basket of Hope not only receive a bag of groceries but they also receive much needed encouragement from the Freedom Ministries staff.
Our vision is to duplicate what we are doing in Newark in other urban communities throughout New Jersey.
